Project Manager

Your Challenge

• You take responsibility for the successful implementation of WHATS’ON for a set of  customers in an international environment. Delivering the commitments towards the customers and transitioning the project into customer services operations is your focus.
• You are an expert at keeping the balance between the scope, the budget and the planning.
• You lead and inspire a MEDIAGENIX project team (scrum master, business consultant, functional analysts, implementers, software developers, testers,...) by keeping the team members involved and motivated. You are responsible for the overall project performance.
• You will work on multiple customer projects in parallel
• You will work on customer proposals together with our business development team for new project implementations, additional change requests or upgrade services
• You will actively participate in our Project Manager’s community, will share your knowledge and best practices and will work on internal improvement projects
• You will keep the project status up-to-date in our finance systems (such as performed actuals, estimate of remaining days and follow-up on invoicing)  and will regularly report on this accurate project status to the management team (delivery and finance)
• You will define, prioritize and administer the backlog of your agile squad
• You will work closely together with our product development team and will align the customer project planning with the WHATS’ON product roadmap and release planning

Our Wishlist

• You are a project manager with at least 5 years of experience (in the implementation of large-scale business applications in a variety of customer organizations & sectors).
• You are a mature business change manager, with a solid background in a structured methodology, having hands-on experience with a variety of project management methodologies (such PMBOK or Prince2) and preferably within  an agile software development process.
• You build relationships easily and you have excellent communication and people management skills.
• Your consulting, judgement & decision-making skills make you stand out.
• You preferably have implemented first cloud projects
• You master English, both spoken and written; French, Dutch or German is a plus.
• Information security is at the core of our business, so it is of paramount importance that you respect the specific security provisions related to the execution of your job.
• Having experience with the broadcasting industry or broadcasting management systems (BMS) is an asset
• You don’t need sponsorship to live and work in Belgium.
