To support media companies in their growth in this fast-paced media world, we deliver innovative software solutions on premise or web-based in the cloud that optimize the life cycle of their content across channels and services.
We’re looking for a senior leader to drive the strategy, structure, and evolution of Web Engineering at Mediagenix. You guide distributed agile teams, shape our technology stack, and ensure our platforms are scalable, efficient, and future-ready. This is a pivotal role, balancing hands-on technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration and long-term vision.

You lead the adoption and refinement of modern engineering practices, ensuring quality across all stages of delivery—design, development, automated testing, CI/CD, tooling, and deployment.
Our stack includes Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, React, Angular, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker. This includes evaluating and evolving this stack to reduce duplication, close capability gaps, and unlock new opportunities (e.g., mobile, AI tooling, accessibility).
You drive a culture of test automation—unit, integration, and load testing—to support high-quality, scalable delivery. Platform reliability, observability, and performance under load will be key focus areas.
You lead the shift towards more aligned technologies and practices across squads. This includes managing change thoughtfully, addressing resistance, and ensuring teams evolve together rather than in silos.
You work closely with architects, product managers, designers, and engineering leads to build alignment and clarity. Open communication and shared ownership will be at the heart of how you operate.
You improve platform observability through better monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis. You lead efforts to move toward zero-downtime deployments, support high-frequency releases, and ensure we operate with a clear understanding of platform limits.
You ensure that engineering practices meet security, legal, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.). Proactive risk identification and mitigation will be part of your mandate.

Your interests and skills
- You have proven experience leading engineering teams in complex, fast-moving environments, as well as:
- Strong technical background in scalable systems and modern development practices.
- Experience with test automation, operational reliability (high availability, 24/7, worldwide presence), and deployment models (continuous, blue/green).
- Passion for technology and people.
