The mission of this awesome tribe at MEDIAGENIX is to enable renowned public and commercial radio and TV stations, on-demand platforms, OTT streamers and telcos to bring content to the viewer with our broadcast management system called WHATS’ON.

Help make it clear to the Disney's and BBC's of this world how WHATS’ON  can support them in engaging viewers and improving operational efficiency. Our Documentation team is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Writer  who will help them keep the impressive MEDIAGENIX knowledge base updated with clear descriptions of WHATS’ON functionality.
Over 150 media companies across the globe rely on the rich functionality of our Media Business Management Platform WHATS’ON to efficiently get the right content at the right time to the right audience on the right device through whichever platforms and delivery methods. Documentation of this functionality plays a key role in the adoption of our functionality and the worldwide recognition it gets for its unrivalled effectiveness, power, flexibility, and ease of use.

Your challenge

  • You write clear documentation for the users of MEDIAGENIX’ products, describing functionality, workflows, tips and tricks in an easy and understandable way.
  • You have an eye for detail, both with regards to style and terminology. 
  • As a technical writer, you and your colleagues are responsible for maintaining and updating the English knowledge base of our software applications. 
  • You can think logically, creatively and critically to constantly improve the quality of our documentation.
  • You respect the terminology and best practices of our style guide and strive to further improve both. 
  • UI & UX writing: you provide input and feedback for UI labels, messages, etc. and for the UX of our software applications.
  • You are fully integrated in the product team and you interface daily with analysts, product owners and developers to write release notes for new software versions.
  • You will have the opportunity to give internal trainings about our products or help to test software new versions.

Our wishlist

  • You have a degree in Technical Writing, Language Studies, Communication, Computer Science or related linguistic/technical field.
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Excellent command of English is required, other languages are an asset. You understand what it means to write for non-native speakers.
  • You have previous experience in working in an international team, taking care of different projects simultaneously.
  • It comes naturally to you to learn how to work with new software applications.
  • You have light graphic design skills and knowledge of .CSS. 
  • It helps if you have knowledge of Adobe Robohelp and/or MadCap Flare.
