The mission of this awesome tribe at MEDIAGENIX is to enable renowned public and commercial radio and TV stations, on-demand platforms, OTT streamers and telcos to bring content to the viewer with our broadcast management system called WHATS’ON.

In the MEDIAGENIX office in South Florida, you represent and support the customer so they can make optimal use of our software solution WHATS’ON. Beyond support and implementation, you take initiative and ownership to make media magic!

Your challenge

  • After an extensive onboarding, during which you are trained in the business concepts of media and the functionality of our WHATS’ON broadcast management system, you learn how to master our solution.
  • You deal with all questions about the use of our complex software and—after thorough examination—you register solutions for error messages and it is up to you to find a solution autonomously. You communicate with the customer mainly online through an issue tracking system (JIRA) or by telephone.
  • You release new versions to the customers you are responsible for, after testing new development of fixes in our WHATS’ON software. This comprises testing and documenting new functionality as well as the solutions for error messages you registered yourself.
  • You translate the customer’s workflow autonomously into the WHATS’ON workflow, in order to get our customers operational as quickly as possible.
  • You will train our customers’ key users and sometimes end users. You will help configure and integrate our solution and deal with all questions about the use of our software and you guarantee internal first-line support. You are the main contact for our customers during the implementation and you represent their interests internally. You provide on-site assistance during the go-live period. 
  • You are supported by experienced colleagues in Belgium, Skopje and Bangkok as you will be part of a team delivering projects for customers in North and Latin America. 

Our wishlist

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • B2B customer support and/or application support, media and/or product software knowledge are your trump cards.
  • You have the proven ability to quickly and continuously learn new software, having technical skills is a benefit.
  • You are proficient in English, both spoken and written. 
  • You will occasionally travel to train customers.
  • You are good at analyzing, documenting and solving problems and you have an eye for detail.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and you excel at teaching and training.
  • You have a can-do attitude, you are result-oriented, resilient, thinking out of the box, aiming for the win-win and going the extra mile when needed.
  • Juggling multiple projects and customers at the same time comes natural to you.
  • Information security is at the core of our business, so it is of paramount importance that you respect the specific security provisions related to the execution of your job.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship indefinitely.
