The mission of this awesome tribe at MEDIAGENIX is to enable renowned public and commercial radio and TV stations, on-demand platforms, OTT streamers and telcos to bring content to the viewer with our broadcast management system called WHATS’ON.

In the MEDIAGENIX Americas office, the combination of your marketing and organizational skills will allow you to be the spider in the web for both external and internal clients! 

Your challenge

  • As a marketing assistant, you will support the marketing strategy in MEDIAGENIX’ overall cross-channel marketing approach. This includes amongst others: email marketing and social media marketing, both in English and Spanish. You will work closely together with the marketing team in MEDIAGENIX’ headquarters.
  • You will think about new creative and innovative ways of interacting with our customers, prospects, colleagues, candidates and other target groups.
  • You are a leading member of the cross-region marketing team that organizes professional customer events such as broadcast industry events and conferences.
  • You work collaboratively across functions within Marketing, the whole MEDIAGENIX organization and with external marketing, communication and PR agencies.
  • You will adopt the internal communication plan and messages with focus on the Americas team.
  • You are the linchpin of the office, the glue that binds everyone together and the first person workers will approach when there’s a problem, which can range from the serious, to just needing a new stapler.
  • You will ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety while keeping the smile on your face when greeting visitors.
  • You assure all aspects of the administration of the local office run smoothly and work together with the HQ finance, legal and administration services.
  • You plan in-house or off-site activities such as parties, celebrations and conferences.
  • You will prepare the move from our current co-working space to a new office location, taking care of the practicalities of moving, the renovations and the furnishing at the new site.
  • You are surrounded by a great team of colleagues in our Ft. Lauderdale office and you work closely with the Managing Director, who is also leading the business development organization. 

Our wishlist

  • You have 5 years of relevant working experience in marketing and office management
  • You have affinity with technology, preferably in an international B2B environment
  • You are good at analyzing, documenting and solving problems and you have an eye for detail.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have a can-do attitude, you are result-oriented, resilient, thinking out of the box, aiming for the win-win and going the extra mile when needed.
  • Juggling multiple projects at the same time comes natural to you.
  • You are proficient in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.  Portuguese is an additional asset.
  • You live in the South Florida area or you are willing to relocate.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship indefinitely.
