The mission of this awesome tribe at MEDIAGENIX is to enable renowned public and commercial radio and TV stations, on-demand platforms, OTT streamers and telcos to bring content to the viewer with our broadcast management system called WHATS’ON.

At the intersection between business, technology and user experience, you are the agile driving force behind the success of a MEDIAGENIX software domain.

Your challenge

  • As a member of the MEDIAGENIX leadership team you lead the product management circle. Your key objective is to continuously bring compelling and innovative solutions to life, enabling our customers to thrive in a rapidly evolving Media & Entertainment industry.
  • With your team of 4 product managers, you drive the product management circle and its governance and facilitate the product council where the gated process of product management is collectively aligned across business development, delivery management and software engineering.
  • You drive your team to engage with customers and to understand consumer trends of the Media industry in order to support the strategic orientation of the MEDIAGENIX platform.
  • You drive your team to build their individual product road map from market needs, resource allocation and financial impact. You then align the road maps into a consistent holistic product road map which creates a competitive edge and drives revenue growth. 
  • Doing so you continuously improve the maturity of the product management process and practice towards the best combination of functional leadership, innovation, economic return and time to market.
  • You work with Marketing to define product marketing objectives, align with Sales, Marketing and Business Development on how to push for active selling, you prepare ROI analyses and establish times schedules with Product Engineering, and align with Product Engineering to ensure we stay within timing & budget.
  • In collaboration with Marketing and Sales you develop pricing strategies on the basis of market research data, review production and sales costs, anticipate volumes and provide costings for special and customized orders.
  • You ensure adoption of the product and realize product market share objectives by working with the VP of Business Development on product sales strategies, including strong collaboration with the other sales roles.
  • You co-ordinate market research to track customer and end-user feedback.

Our wishlist

  • You have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and extensive experience in product management methodology & techniques in the software/ERP industry.
  • You have a track record of combining strategic thinking with the ability to stir things into motion, based on profound knowledge of business and management principles and practices. You are known for your accurate judgement, your strategic thinking and the effective way in which you analyze and solve problems and make decisions.
  • Always customer oriented and a good negotiator, you are able to introduce new concepts into the organization, in collaboration with the various stakeholders.
  • You have driven budgets and road maps before, and you know your way around key product management tools and practices.
  • You are familiar with defining pricing models.
  • You have a knack for quantitative and business analysis, and project management.
  • You combine a strong leadership mindset with the personality, communicative flair and team player skills needed to connect people and bring multi-disciplinary teams together.
  • You have strong organizational and planning skills.
